Product Name: Liquid Argon
Uses:Used for inflating globes and arc welding of stainless steel, magnesium, aluminum, etc., such as "tungsten inert gas welding (TIG welding)".
Emergency Overview:This product is a non-flammable gas with suffocating properties and can cause severe frostbite. Containers may rupture when exposed to heat.
GHS Hazard Category:
According to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for the Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (see Part 6), this product is classified as a compressed gas - cryogenic liquefied gas.
Warning:
Contains cryogenic liquefied gas which can cause frostbite.
Precautions:
- Wear anti-freeze gloves, protective masks, and other personal protective equipment during operation and use.
- The storage and usage areas should be well-ventilated, away from heat sources, sparks, and flammable materials.
- Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Liquid argon has extremely low temperatures (-186°C). Contact with liquid argon, cold gaseous argon, or cold pipelines without protection can cause severe frostbite.
First Aid:
- This product is non-flammable.
- In case of fire near the container, continuously cool the container with water until the fire is completely extinguished to prevent explosion due to overheating.
- If accidentally inhaled, immediately move the patient to fresh air. If breathing stops, perform artificial respiration immediately and seek medical attention.
- In case of frostbite, continuously flush the affected area with clean running water and warm it with water. Do not rub or friction the frostbitten area. Seek medical attention immediately.
Storage:
Store in a well-ventilated area.
Disposal:
- Harmless waste, can be safely dispersed into the atmosphere.
- Waste argon should not be discharged into enclosed, poorly ventilated, or low-lying areas. Discharge into a safe outdoor location.
Physical and Chemical Hazards:This product is a non-flammable gas with suffocating properties and can cause severe frostbite. The packaging container is a pressure vessel. Under high temperature and heat, the internal pressure increases, posing an explosion risk; if the container is damaged, it may rupture.
Health Hazards:Non-toxic under normal pressure. When large amounts of argon appear in poorly ventilated areas, it quickly replaces oxygen in the air, causing oxygen deficiency. When argon concentration exceeds 50%, severe symptoms may occur; as argon concentration in the air increases, symptoms such as accelerated breathing, inattention, and loss of coordination may first appear. Fatigue, irritability, nausea, vomiting, coma, convulsions, and even death may follow. Liquid argon is extremely cold, with temperatures as low as -186°C, causing severe frostbite and cold burns upon contact.
Environmental Hazards:This substance is not harmful to the environment.

Corporate Values
Environmental Protection:
We recycle industrial waste CO₂ and transform it into value-added products—dry ice. As a recyclable form of CO₂, dry ice replaces environmentally harmful traditional cleaning methods and reduces energy consumption in cold chain logistics. Additionally, the use of dry ice does not count toward corporate carbon emission quotas, helping businesses improve their ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) scores.
Employee Safety:
Dry ice cleaning replaces traditional chemical solvent-based cleaning methods, minimizing secondary pollution and providing employees with a greener, safer working environment.
Advanced Dry Ice Technology Leading the Industry:
HORECO₂ boasts a professor-level R&D team, collaborates with multiple universities, and operates a postgraduate research station. To date, HORECO₂ has obtained over 80 patented technologies, continuously driving innovation in China’s dry ice industry.
